Cindy Yang, LPC, Psychotherapist and Founder of Hidden Depths Therapy
Serving high achieving professionals online throughout TX, and in-person in Frisco, TX
Hi, I’m Cindy
I help high-achieving second-generation immigrants like you understand what’s keeping you in the cycles of pressure, overthinking, and burnout. Hidden Depths Therapy is where you’re allowed to stop performing, slow down, and discover how you want to live.
What you can expect
from our work:
Relief from Performance Mode
You may be used to being the reliable one in your circle — the one who stays composed, capable, and in control. In our work together, you’re allowed to show up exactly as you are, at your own pace. This is where your exhale begins.
Collaboration from Day One
You remain the expert on your own life experiences while I bring my psychological lens to help you see new perspectives. I encourage you to tell me when something I say doesn’t land, and we’ll find a direction that actually works for you.
Insight That Leads to Change
Our conversations don’t stay theoretical. We’ll turn insights into concrete, cumulative action steps to create lasting change. Over time, your efforts will feel more natural and you’ll begin to relate to yourself, your work, and your relationships with more clarity and choice
- What our work is NOT:
- A space just to vent: We'll make space for what's happening in your life, but we won't stop there. I'll ask you to connect what's happening today to the deeper patterns driving it
- A quick fix: The patterns you're carrying didn't develop overnight. They were built over years of grit, responsibility, and expectations. We're going to work through them intentionally, not just put a bandaid over them.
- A place to avoid discomfort: We will get into the things you’ve learned to push aside in order to keep functioning. While facing them can feel uncomfortable at first, acknowledging them is the first step to creating lasting change.
