Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your office located?
My office is located at 5300 Town and Country Blvd Suite 240, Frisco, TX 75034. My office space is geographically convenient not only for clients located in Frisco, but also surrounding areas including Prosper, Little Elm, Plano, Hebron, and The Colony. I will provide you further information on accessing the building after establishing care.
Do you only see second-generation immigrant clients?
No. While I bring a unique cultural lens to working with second-generation immigrants, you don’t need to fit this background exactly for us to work together. If something in my focus resonates with you, I invite you to book a free consultation to get a sense if we’d be a good fit
What will our first session look like?
The first session is all about getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you to therapy now, what feels most important to you, and how you hope therapy will make a difference in your life. I’ll also answer any questions you have about me and my approach.
We’ll also have time to go over any questions about my policies, confidentiality, or any other concerns. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out — the first session is simply a place to begin.
How long will I be in therapy?
The short answer: depends on how deep we go — and that’s your choice.
My clients start with weekly sessions, since consistency builds momentum for rewiring deep-seated patterns. Once we’ve worked through the root causes of what brought you in, how much further you want to explore is entirely up to you. Some clients feel ready to wrap up at that point. Others find themselves curious to keep going.

Do you provide crisis or emergency services?
No. Hidden Depths Therapy does NOT provide crisis or emergency services. I DO NOT specialize in working with active suicidal ideation, intent, or crisis-level concerns.
If you are currently experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or are in distress that feels difficult to manage on your own, it’s important to receive a higher level of care:
If you need immediate support, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or through their online chat. They are available 24/7 and offer free, confidential support.
How much do sessions cost and how do you accept payment?
Your investment is $300 for 50 min sessions. I accept Visa, HSA and FSA payments. Visit the contact page to get started.
Do you take my insurance?
No, I am an out-of-network provider and do not directly accept insurance. I can provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific out-of-network benefits.
Please note that submitting a superbill requires a mental health diagnosis, which will be shared with your insurance provider and become part of your medical record. Many clients appreciate the added privacy of being entirely self-pay, but please choose what fits your needs best.
What should I ask my insurance about out-of-network benefits?
Before our first session, I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask them:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Have I met my out-of-network deductible? If not, how much is remaining?
What percentage does my plan reimburse for out-of-network mental health services?
Is there an out-of-pocket maximum for out-of-network services?
- Are telehealth sessions covered under my out-of-network benefits?
- Do I need a referral or prior authorization to see an out-of-network therapist?
How do I submit a superbill?
Once you receive your superbill from me, contact your insurance company and ask:
How do I submit an out-of-network claim?
What is the deadline for submitting claims after a session?
How long does reimbursement typically take?
Will reimbursement come as a check or direct deposit?
What CPT codes do you use?
The most common codes for individual therapy are 90837 (60 minutes), 90834 (45 minutes), and 90791 (initial assessment). Your superbill will include the appropriate code for each session
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
If you are paying out of pocket (not using insurance), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services under the No Surprises Act.
This estimate outlines the anticipated cost of your therapy sessions so you can better understand and plan for your care.
You’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate before starting services, and you can request an updated version at any time.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
